I've been playing warmachine for a few years, but unhappy with the changes brought about in their so-called ''MkII'' rules [if they may so be called] I jumped head first into warhammer 40k about 9 or 10 months ago & haven't looked back...
I'm excited to pick the brains of all you dakkaites for morsels of painting & strategic goodness. Please, just bear with me as I am definitely behind the curve in a game that's over 20 years old!
Actually, I've been lurking on the painting forums of this site for as long as I've been wargaming!
Also, I'm not trying to disrespect warmachine - truth be told I loved that game. I just didn't like the direction they were going. That's not to say that the new system won't be fine-tuned to the point where I will dust off my thousands of dollars worth of minis that are currently boxed up in a corner, and I really hope that day does come. For now, though, I'm focusing my efforts on conquest of the 41st millennium!
Here's to hoping I don't piss anyone off too bad or make myself look [too] foolish...
