I've look and there doesn't seem to be a setting for this.

Since I often hit dakka while waiting for large file transfers to complete at work, and
what with the proliferation of skantilly clad avatars as of late, I'd like to be able to
disable their display for a while. The only solutions I've come up with so far are:

1. Use adblock to prevent any images from dakka being displayed, this is overkill in my mind
2. Use links to view dakka, and just explicitly load any images that might be worth viewing.

Option 2 seems the most preferable at this point, but I'd rather be able to use firefox, much prefer
the keybindings there (vimperator ftw).

Signatures can be disabled on your profile settings page. Same with the avatars.
