I have played warhammer when i was alot younger when i was about 13 or 14.
Now 5 years have based and i have decided to start collecting again.
Thanks to DakkaDakka i have been able to sell all of my old models to aquire new models.
I have decided to collect space marines (much to most of everyones suprise).

When choosing space marines, you have to decide what chapter you want to field.
Theres balanced chapters like ultramarines, shooty chapters like dark angels, and close combat chapters like blood angels.

I love the idea of my boys slicing and dicing the enemy with chainswords, and mauling the xenos with power fists.
It seems clear to collect blood angels - they are easy to paint, and have remarkable fluff and a seperate 'dex.
So here is my idea of collecting a company of blood angels which i have decided to call "Blood Wings".
I like the idea of sweeping to the enemy as fast as possible and embracing the close combat special rules.
So ill be decking out assault marines, rhinos and deep strike terminators.

I have started hording some models to start my army and here is what i have so far.

Captain - Assault Pack and lightening claws
Tactical Squad
Assault Squad
2 Dreadnoughts

Ill be getting 2 more assault squads and collecting a death company (any ideas of how to convert new models as the old ones dont look that great, would bet great)
And also another tactical squad.

Ill be posting pictures and ideas,
so if your interested in my army keep posted.

Just a small note, the 8th company doesnt have any tactical squads!

For death company, which old models do you mean? the ones released in 2nd ed, or 3rd ed running ones?

If you dont like them, just paint regular assault marines black, then freehand the crosses.
