New to the site, decided to join to compliment someone's conversions, and as the winter weather takes its toll, I'm dusting off my messy IG.
So, I used to have 3000+ points of Emperor's Children back in 3rd ed (I started in 2nd), gave 'em all to my nephew and took a hiatus until I was sucked back in a year or so ago. I now have a piddly IG army, cobbled together from alternate model ranges (mainly Perry Twins plastic napoleonics), and try and play flavoursome ~500pt battles with one of my housemates and his 2nd ed boxed set vanilla marines.
My primary method of mainlining 40K is Dan Abnett's books, of which I own ~80%. To open my heart and soul to y'all, I got quite weepy at the end of Riders of the Dead...
You probably didn't want to know that.

Oh, forgot to mention, I *adore* Necromunda, and have always kept a gang handy since '99. Created gang rules for Wushu Shaolinesque monks that's quite balanced as well, if anyone would like to see them.
