Fresh-Faced New User

hi there.
Sorta coming back to the "scene" after a few years hiatus. I stopped playing GW games around 2005-06, although towards the end I was mostly playing necromunda and mordheim. Coming back and seeing the GW website, its changed a lot, im liking some of the new mini's and im seeing a lot of potential for converting some empire flagellents to a necro gang (possibly some form of redemptionists). However, Whats happened to the warhammer and 40K basic unit sets, when I played, you got 20 cadians for £15 later £18 but now its boxes of 10. The new command squads mean under the old system you would only have to buy 2 boxes, now its 3 and it will cost more. I guess im lucky in that im not coming back to play fantasy or 40k. Although saying that, specialist games seems to have been decimated, what happened to those "new" multi part Van Saars they released when I was playing them?
The Cities of Death kits look sweet though and i might get a few manufactorums to put together some necro scenery. Anyway sorry for the slightly long and rantish first post, im necroplaya...
