No. Tau Ceti is about 12 light years away from us. The Tau homeworld is about as far as you can possibly get from us and still be in the same galaxy.

I think the tau are named tau because games workshop decided. But i always thought they were named after the tau particle which is like an electron.

why I wrote this page is that Tau'ceti is supposed to be a starsystem with powerful warrior races, but whatever is said, goes.

Tau is T in the greek alphabet, im also pretty sure it translates to "bright star" in some language.

Assuming you are using Windowz and have Numberlock "On":
For â: Hold Left Alt and type "0226" on the Keypad
For æ: Hold Left Alt and type "0230" on the keypad
Or you could Google "a circumflex" and just copypaste it
