Hey my name is Devyn 13 years old and i was just wondering what should i have mark of khorne mark of nurgle, tzeentech or slaneesh? idk whiche one to choose and do i need to have the mark attached to the squad or does it matter if i do or dont?

Ok, you do not need to take a mark, but you have to understand what they do. You can take only one, if you take one (per squad/unit).

Khorne: Gives extra attack per model in CC.
Nurgle: One more Toughness per model.
Tzeentch: Gives a 5+ Invulnerable save (or makes an exsisting Invulnerable save better).
Slaanesh: Gives one more Initiative.

Now I'll assume you own the rulebook and understand the rules. Basically, try to figure out what you want that squad to be doing in battle, and give them the mark that will help them accordingly.

If you take Mark of Khorne, drop it, take Berzerkers instead.
If you want Mark of Nurgle, drop that too, take Plague Marines instead.

Berzerkers come preset with the MoK, but they have Fearless and Furious Charge. In other words, they are better for the same role. Take Plague Marines instead of CSM with MoN.

And please spell correctly. We on Dakka tend to not care for l337speak.

If you have no other marks on regular Chaos Marines, just use an IoCG. It's the closest thing we have to ATSKNF and you'll often need it. Slaanesh is fairly cheap in comparison but is worthwhile if your opponents are also I4 (like space marines).

Hence the caveat. It also sucks vs. Necrons and Orks since they're already lower.

The T5 doesn't count for weapons that cause Instant Death. Even if it's "T5", S8 will still be Instant Death. It's run the same way as Bikers, yes. I'm not saying it isn't worth it, but I'm saying if you're putting on normal CSM, just take Plague Marines instead.

No, I mean Raptors. Chaos fast attack is crap. 25 point Raptors (factoring in the cost of the mark in a 10-man squad) are the cost of 1 2/3 CSM. That's supremely not worth it.

Well yeah, CSM fast attack IS crap.

Blight drones are good, but obviously not normal codex.
