This winter, the Philadelphia Area Gaming Enthusiasts' (PAGE) Center City chapter and Redcap's Corner gaming store are organizing a Warhammer 40,000 750-point Combat Patrol tournament league, right in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!

The tournament will feature five rounds of narrative-oriented missions, beginning January 9th, 2010. In the first three rounds, matched players will have two weeks to coordinate games according to their own schedules. The final two rounds will be played en masse at PAGE CC on Sunday, February 28th, 2010, for an epic night of 40K gaming! We also encourage all players to schedule their first round to be at Redcap's on Saturday, January 16th, for a great group session to kick off the tournament.

Registration is $3 USD, with all reg fees going to prizes for the winners as Redcap's gift cards. Participants must sign up by January 6th, either at Redcap's, at PAGE, or online.

More details and all tournament rules are now available on the website (link below). Opening missions will be posted shortly.

This is a great opportunity for Philadelphia-area players to meet new opponents and get involved in the strong and growing miniatures scenes at both Redcap's and PAGE CC. We hope to see all the nearby 40K players in the tournament! For everyone else, we'll be posting a complete mission book once the tournament completes, so that it may be used by other groups looking to host similar events.
