Hey everyone, I am going to post a thread all about the background and history of my Chaos renegades. It all started with one man...

On the planet of Karvorath, in the Gulag 2398 sector, in the 41st millenium, a war had just ended between the soldiers of the IG and a horde of Orks led by the warlord, Guluk Nek-Choppa. The Warlord himself had escaped, but most, if not all of his army had been destroyed. Commanding the entire company that had assualted the planet was General Yarnik of the 5th company, who, under his leadership, his men had wiped the green stain from the Gulag 2398 sector. They were outnumbered and outgunned, but with much guerilla and hit and run tactics they had been victorious. The governor of the planet who, with his family, had been hiding underground, left their hiding place and thanked the General and his men, but he had been unceremoniously shoved onto the floor and trampled underfoot by the General's uncaring army. They did not care about glory or 'Thanks', the relic hidden in the underground bunker the Govenor and his family had been hiding in was all that mattered. The General had his men blow the doors off the ceramite strongpoint and prise a strange statue out of a hole in the ground. Then, the army left the planet and the sector.
After five years of wondering where they had gone, they reappeared in the alien galaxy of Zgafalothe, which was infested with daemons and heretics. They landed on the planet of Xacofine where they defeated the daemon prince Tariopkir, a Bloodthirster that had great plans for a neiboring Imperial system. Then, they left again, and were never seen after that for 18 years. 18 years later an Imperial governor had a heart attack when the heads of thousands of Imperial citizens rained down on his planet and an international alert was sounded. It was quite obvious that the General had turned traitor and was declared Excommunicate Tratioris by the Ordo Malleus. The General appeared a final time and proclaimed that the Emperor was a fool and must die. This jammed billions of communications, but it worked as millions of citizens and soldiers rebelled against their superiors in a huge interplanetary uprising. The General then explained his rebellion, as when he was a child his father had been hunted down and executed by the Inquisition. He only narrowly escaped the wrath of the agents and Inquisitors of the Ordo Malleus, who found his mother in his place. His mother was decapitated on the spot. He hid in a barrel and witnessed the whole event with strange intrest. As he aged, he discovered that the same thing had happened to all of his ancestors who had all been accused of treachery. The rebellious citizens and soldiers were welcomed into his army with open arms, and then they fled into the Eye Of Terror. The General and his 'horde' have returned many times to plunder and slaughter Imperial planets surrounding the EOT, and are currently launching assualts on the Cadian Gate and Cadia itself.
