Subject: Question about the Novel "Lord of the Night"

Storm Lance

Ok so I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this, but I figure worst comes to worst I get moved and told where to put it next time. But anyway my friend and myself trade Warhammer 40k books and he lent me "Lord or the Night" and while I wasn't expecting much I really enjoyed the book a lot. And I after spending many hours looking to see if the story continues (and failing) I figured I'd ask y'all. I was wondering if there's more to the story or is that it? And/if Mr. Simon Spurrier has written anymore WH40k books. Anything y'all tell me will be a big help.

I am not familiar with Lord of the Night. Spurrier also wrote the much criticized Fire Warrior novel released along with the even more criticized video game of the same name. He also wrote in Xenology but I can't remember if he wrote the entire book (it wasn't a novel, more of a background source/artbook on 40k aliens).

Recently picked up "Lord of the night" and its a fine book.
I think it is a closed story, except the two charcters escaping which may allow to use them later again.

There aren't any sequeals to Lord of the Night so far. I quite liked Fire Warrior, the story wasn't bad although some scenes are a little unbelievable but there you go.

Well that's a shame that theirs no more to Lord of the Night. I'll have to pick up Fire Warrior then, hopefully it'll surprise me.

Lord of Nights a good read, and pretty much the closest thing to pre herasy thoughts of the Night Lords (or just post herasy)

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
