So, I have had my 360 of over a year now and I am rather impressed w/ the system. Being an avid PS fanboy, I never played the original x-box, but was given my 360 for a payment for an army. So, I was wondering, what are the 5 titles that you feel every owner needs to play. I'm going to exclude a few that I know about, played or don't care about. In no order:

Gears of War 1 + 2
BioShock
Halo
MW 1 + 2
Mass Effect
Batman: AA

So, w/ those out of the way, what are your top 5?

The Eldar Scrolls IV: Oblivion or Fallout 3
Halo: Combat Evolved
Knights of the Old Republic
Modern Warfare 2
Dead Space

Explanation of Choices-
TES4/Fallout are for basic RP'ing fun. I'd choose whicher appeals to you more from a style standpoint.

Halo needs no explanation.

I thought KotoR was a great game, with lots of story and choices. The sequel was better from a game mechanics standpoint, but the ending
Spoiler:
makes you want to club a seal with a nailboard
.

Modern Warfare 2 is for basic multiplayer and getting called homosexual/a noob/ a girl.

Dead Space is an awesome game, and adds some variety. This would probably be replaced by a puzzle game if I played any (I've heard good things about Portal).

Mass Effect 1+2.
First three Halo games.

There. 5 games, all awesome. Mass Effect is simply the best RPG I've ever played (apart from the sequel), and Halo is highly regarded by a lot of gamers for a good reason.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Guys... he said WITHOUT Halo, MW 1 + 2, and Mass Effect...

I just got a 360 a month and a half ago. I only play Halo (I got Halo ODST) since it's the only thing I'm good at, and I don't have time to learn new games right now!

Fallout 3
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Dead Space
Dragon Age: Origins
The Orange Box / Portal

This echoes a lot of what has been said above.

Mass Effect 2 may be the best available on the 360 though.

Hmm, none of these big titles, eh? Let's see...

Mass Effect 2 (Loophole! You said nothing about ME2! It's insanely better than the first game, by the way)
Prototype (In terms of gameplay, think Spider-man if it was rated M. Very free-roam environment, and a lot of side-missions to play around with. A lot of fun)
Borderlands (Seriously awesome)
The Orange Box (Although you'd be better off getting it for PC)
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Don't bother with Morrowind, Oblivion was much better)

My Armies:
Kal'reia Sept Tau - Farsight Sympathizers
Da Great Looted Waaagh!
The Court of the Wolf Lords

What? No love for Assasin's Creed 1 & 2?

Both were fantastic.

Well, if you're looking for exclusives, try Dead Rising. IMO the best Zombie game out there atm.
