As I seem to be on something of a list making tear right now, I figured I ought to grace this section of the forum with my presence also. Anyhow, I was looking at starting out in WOTR (skipping the SBG altogether) and I wanted to do Elven Kingdoms as my force of choice, specifically Mirkwood. This is what I came up with, and it seems relatively inexpensive $-wise for a butt load of models. Is it at all effective?

Bump. Just want to see if this is even a viable army, even if a dull one.

I would make the sentinels one formation and switch out the galadhrim longbow fortune out with inner glory. When your warbands do get into combat they will need as many dice as they can get for that charge.

Maybe change out radagast out for thranduil. He's less points and can still cast magic.

Why are we not hanging out?

(I've thought about getting into it but hadn't seen a great deal of point to it given our sparse scene.)

I currently don't play most of the games (money issues), but I'm intending to get back into them, so Manchu, once I'm through my current divorce/employment woes, I think it'd be entertaining to hang out and game a little, particularly as you tend to be one of the posters on here who provides some more thought provoking threads.

I look forward to it. It would help if I had at least one complete 40k army . . . or even a single LotR mini, I guess . . . Better get back to painting those sisters!
