All too often I see people giving incorrect answers to questions asked, and when confronted, they almost always defend themselves with "This is You make the Call not Rules Discussion".

We should change it to Gwar Makes Da Call.

It may rankle but so much of GW's policy is based on "ask your opponent"/"this is not about professional level competition" that I think YMDC accurately captures what is actually possible/intended.

I agree with the above posters... YMDC is accurate, because the rules are often complicated, vague, or contradictory. There often isn't a black and white "right" or "wrong" answer... most of the situations that are asked about fall into the grey area, where you have to make a judgement call about what is right / the best way to play it according to the rules.

I'd proffer "Pit of Hell" but Lego would be displeased.

i wanted to see it changed to "you make the call and then argue about RAI vs RAW and how your opinion is better than everyone elses" but i think it was a bit too long.

Way more appropriate though.

Rules discusion sounds alright, but I see it having the same problem. "It's a discussion about the rules, we're not meant to come to the same answer"

What about just calling it something like "The shrine of RAW" or something fancy like that that shows that it's super cereal. Or even going with the above one the "RAW Thunderdome".

But its easier to just keep the same name and just point out that "OP/TC probably wants the correct answer and to stop being such a tool"

Isn't that the true YMDC spirit?
If they still don't belive you jump on their RAI ship and explain away. Or just ignore them, their ship is going to be shot down by pirates anyway.

Is this even a problem? I don't think I've ever seen this happen before. Course, I don't troll YMDC constantly.
