I've made some gigantic changes behind the scenes to a lot of very core code today, so I expect things to break. Just putting this here to remind you to post in nuts and bolts if you come across any big errors.

Loads of new mod toys have been added, but only 1 thing for users (well aside from the faster speed of the site hopefully), and that is the facebook button. You can click the little blue 'f' on any thread, gallery image or article to share it on your facebook profile if you want to. Small and not very useful, but hey you got something for now

Hopefully these new changes will help dakka continue to grow smoothly and avoid the masses of downtime that inevitably hits forums when they get a bit too large.

Yep, I have facebook.

Works fine for me. I use Chrome if that affects anything.

See the nuts and bolts post for the solution to the facebook button glitch (or wait a week for the cache to update naturally).

A twitter button was considered but ignored due to the lack of usage amongst our members compared to facebook. Facebook is the test, and if that is used a lot then I'll add twitter, but twitter takes a bit more work.
