Well, I battled my friend Michael at Berlin GW I on Saturday.

My army:
Farseer w/ fortune, both runes, 10 Warlocks w/ embolden x2, enhance, Serpent
6 Fire Dragons, Serpent
6 Fire Dragons, Serpent
10 Dire Avengers w/ blade storm, Serpent
10 Dire Avengers w/ blade storm, Serpent
Vyper
Fire Prism
Fire Prism

Michael's army:
Hive Tyrant, two Guards
2x 5 Warriors
2x 20 shooty Gaunts
20 cc Gaunts
2 Zoantrophes
2 Carnifexes
1 Trygon (alpha)

Mission: Cleanse, 4 objectives.

The setup is given in the file (pdf) below; no viruses there.

Well, I chose the table quarter and started the game.

In the first round, my Serpents hardly moved while the Fire Prisms headed to the right corner for good shooting angles vs the Warriors.

Nothing really happened in turn one, the Nids moved forward.

In round two, I was a bit concerned that the alpha Trygon will show up soon behind my lines. Therefore, the Serpents stayed and all units mounted, while the Prisms shot some Warriors.
The Trygon didn't show up.

In round three, I started the killing blow. The FD's disembarked and took on the HQ and one Carnifex, the HQ disembarked and charged the other Carnifex, while the DA's blade stormed one Lictor and one Warrior unit.
Both Carnifexes, the Lictor and the Warriors died.

The cc Gaunts counter charged the HQ and inflicted 19 wounds. My goodness, but only a few Warlocks fell. The Trygon showed up and the FD's got decimated (one unit killed and the other decimated to 3 men). Hey, Nids shooting is crap.

In round 4, the Trygon got shot by the FD's and the Serpents, and had 1 wound left. The HQ came on top against the Gaunts, and the DA's embarked again and moved towards objectives.

Trygon and HQ immobilized two Serpents.

In round 5, the Warriors in the centre got decimated, the Zoantrophe in the centre killed himself; runes are awesome. Eldar held 1 objective in the centre and contested the other in the Nids depolyment zone against the shooty Gaunts left behind.

Nids were basically wiped out, up to 2 Warriors, 1 Gaunt brood, and hoofing HQ.

Yeah, he's play testing at the moment.
In particular, he thinks about another (alpha) Trygon.

I don't know enough of the new Tyrannids to comment on his list, but I do like that you played a refused style and I like your HQ. Big enough to get it done, but not overdone.

Well, the Seer Council in the above configuration is tough and mean enough at the 1500 pt level to deal with any kind of opponent.
It cuts like a knife through a Nids army.
