Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I am new.

I am currently in the UK but will be moving to Memphis in the summer, I am a big 40k gamer, as well as the other games, and wreally hope theres quite a good scene going on over there.

Can any one inform me of how active it is in the area etc etc.

Well the Memphis Battle Bunker just pulled out of there IIRC... I'm in Nashville so I didn't really keep up with it. Memphis is pretty active though. It's been the site for GTs such as the Big Waaagh I believe.

Memphis is pretty much the suck. "Memphadishu" is a place where American gun owership is represented by those who shouldnt.

GW will probably escalate its precense there fast which should be easy as the cost of living is low and there is not much to do there. The downtown "Beal" street is ok, and theres the Universtiy and Pro Basketball teams which are entertaining. Even with such a lack of entertainment competition GW is weak there.

Theres one or two good stores in Nashville 4 hrs away, but as far as I know there is only one store in Memphadishu which even carried a decent amount of GW. That was simply becasue it was too hard to compete with the bunker.

The bunker will not fail. The HQ is there and most of the employees transplanted as well. Thanks to a lot of the production moving to the middle of the US, halfing their transportation costs, go central location with Mississippi access! There are lots of tournies in the south so you can travels and have a good time.

I have a feeling you will have good to great hobby support at the bunker. It did have an absolutely CRAP location, but that said they had the absolute best tables largest play area ever 25+ tables when they were open. I loved the multi-tiered freeway. Besides that it was the only store in North America that actually carried full content of ALL Specialist Games and models, I almost sharted when I saw that much EPIC. Who knows if they will carry FW though. Nicest thing about that is that since it was carried it was played!
