Hey all.

I am starting a circle Orobos but I have never read the rule book for hordes nor anything beyond the fluff for the circle.

I am trying to put together a 'fieldable' army from the models I enjoy the most.

Theme and nice looking minatures and the painting aspect is much more important to me than the gaming or power aspect of the models, but I would still like a force that is 'okay' and lega under the rules!

So if people could give me advice on what I need from the below list, I'd appreciate it
I want more to just paint the models, but if the opporutinity ever comes up for a game sometime, I'd like the force to be legal

Now, I have already chosen my caster, and I went for the epic warlock Kaya The Moonhunter and Laris.

Now, here are some other models that really interested me in the circle range.

Pureblood Warpwolf

Tharn Bloodtrackers Unit

Tharn Bloodweavers

I also like all 3 of the stone robot beast things.

And from the minions range which I understand can be allied to my force, I liked...

Lanyssa Ryssyll, Nyss Sorceress

Dahlia Hallyr & Skarath

Anyway to put these together into some kind of a force?

Cheers

You are going to need a couple of beasts to get fury to cast spells and to buff Kaya's attacks. I'm not expert on Circle, but I have understood that she likes the furry beasts better than constructs.

So you should start with around 3 beasts to get fury and have beat sticks against other heavies. Pureblood would be one of these. The next additions would be some infantry and solos to finish the force.

An army consisting of the units you named and a feral and pureblood warpwolf and a argus or gorax would make a nice starter IMHO.

Yesterday I was very impressed with a argus, the thing almost ate 2 warmongers in 1 turn. then I was surprised at its def 15, which I did not expect. The gorax on the other hand has a pretty good animus, although the drawback of autofrenzy is a pain for multiple attack beasts...
