Yes, I own elves. Never talked about it in here really. Recently sold my Space Marines, but I couldn't find anyone to take these babies, so I'm going to finish building and painting them. Most are assembled, and I might have 2 or 3 that are painted. But for the backstory as to how I have them...

My (was) rich friend wanted to play fantasy rather than 40k, but no one was willing to learn. I told him I would, but didnt have a few hundred to put out on an army, so he litterally bought me the $240 army box, the codex, some phoenix guard, and white lions (about $400). I assembled them in a hurry to play, but then he never finished his wood elves. So they sat in a box for the last 3 years, and now that I have nothing to do now that I'm lacking my 40k stuff, I'm pulling them back out of the box.

I am by no means a good painter, and I'm alright with conversions and stuff like that. Don't expect Golden Daemon material here. This blog is more for self-motivation to paint the army then anything, though your input is welcome. I decided to forgo the traditional blue robes that the elves wear in favor of red, I just like red.

I was never big on priming. Now that I'm actually using primer, I unfortunatly I am out of primer. Need to get more later, it'll help with the robes. But for right now my poor is gonna have to stick with 3 or 4 coats of white
