Hey Guys,

I'm going to pretty much write this as I go along but I've had an idea beating about in my head...

My Veterans are just one ten man squad, they hail from a Savannah planet, sparsely populated (it's essentially a death world) with an orbiting moon rich in minerals and site of an AdMech Mechanicum... The AdMech maintains de-facto rule over the planet below.

At any rate, the Savannah planet is home to a bunch of Zulu-inspired tribes, who must fight each other to compete for what little there is in the way of resources (no agriculture exists here), they scratch out a hunter-gatherer existence...

Although the AdMech moon's population mainly consists of servitors, the technicality that the AdMech there rule the planet below means that the Administratium still expects a tithe of guardsmen... though not a huge one as the planet is sparsely populated.

The AdMech thus land on the world every time a tithe is due and the tribes each send their best huntsmen to compete in trials... those who pass are taken away to the moon and a "better life".

Here they are organised into hunter cadres, 10 man kill-teams and trained in the use of their wargear (which is advanced and plentiful, as the mechanicum produces more technology than the world below could ever need). They are equipped with all manners of advanced gadgetry and sent off, the tithe never consisting of more than a hundred hunters.

Thus they are distributed to regiments accross the Imperium.

My veterans are an 'Air Hunter' cadre, I've not been brave enough to attempt African symoblogy, but here they are (I do have the whole squad finished now but at the time I took the pictures only two models were done ):

Automatically Appended Next Post:
When my whole army is done I might get around to green stuffing random additions.

Can anyone think of some African accessories that would be good for these guys?

Ah, Pig Iron heads. Great for veterans. The idea is great. Maybe some spears and sheilds would be a good addition?

It's being run by people with short term vision and enough greed to extinguish a sun.

Perhaps they're the C'tan.

Hrm I could stick shields on their backs I guess... Dunno about Spears....

Their Valkyrie has an angry face on it like the front of an A-10 Warthog... But I would like to add some more africanised imagery onto it.
