hey,
after some month without the hobby i got back to my ig kits and bits. i got the idea from a film with nearly the same title that i used as name for my upcomming ig squad ;P. so far, these minis are not for gaming, just for my showcase. the main phrase i thought about, while i was creating these minis, was "heroic posing". i hope i got it.
the first four basterds:
"Boss"

"Scope"

"Crash"

"Knifes"

im still testing some color shemes. think about a groundcolor of grey, like the old german ww2 latewar uniforms. any suggestion?

I know this is very litteral, but i found this:

also, very nice work on the poses, i take it you used "brown stuff" for the re-posing
keep up the good work.

You know, Crash reminds me of a saying from the star wars universe. It was "any crash you can walk away from, is a good one." So waht do plan to do next?

at the moment im trying to get through the paintjobs... hope i'll get some good ideas for the next basterds soon. thinkin about a heroic heavy weapon pose, like john rambo: the weapon in the right side, the munition-chains in the left hand. another idea was the field-caplan, like the one from "band of brothers". i love the szene when he walks around and the grenades and the projectiles of hostile fire explode and hit in around him. also i'm looking for a vehicle. i think, that a squad of heroes needs a special transport

Your work is delicious! I want to comment on how great your Cadian laying in hiding with the knife is, but I'm afraid that that would imply that I don't love the gritty feel of every figure you have posted here. My only problem with your models is that I like them so much that I'm afraid that if anyone says something negative about them I'll be forced to drop-pod through their roof and kick their cat.
