Now when my little brother got a new video card so we can now play the same games so I am looking for a good coop-game but they are quite a lot of options which to choose (borderlands, left 4 dead...). Do you have any ideas? It doesn't have to be an actual coop game so battlefield bad company 2 seems a viable canditate.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

Borderlands for sure! That game is just straight up fun to play, especially if you know your team mates.
You could always wait for Diablo 3, but who knows when that thing will come out.

Left 4 Dead 2 is a great one to have, lots of co-op options (Campaign, Versus, Survival, and Scavenge) and a great deal of fun. I would also recommend Borderlands, as it's a fantastic FPS with seamless co-op play online.
I would skip Diablo for now - wait for D3. No matter what you do, those games will turn into a grindfest and become boring.

Unlike borderlands.. oh wait.
Anyhow, I'd go for L4D2 or Bad company 2.
