I just recently moved to Augusta, GA and was wondering what the play is like around here.

I've not found/heard of anything there (but I looked just briefly when I was thinking about Augusta for my masters) but Columbia, Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte, Easley, and Greenville all have active communities.

Well friend, there is a pretty active group of us in Augusta, Ga.
If you know where Gordon Highway is, you should stop by the Augusta Book Exchange. We usually play on Monday Nights starting around 5pm. If not, you could usually find someone on the weekends as well. I will be there tonight around 16-17:30 playing Space Wolves if you want to stop by.
We usually do pick up games around 1500, sometimes we do bigger ones depending on how much time each player has and such. Recently, we've started ratcheting up for 'Ard Boyz so a few 2500 point games have been coming up as well.
Here's the Store Information:
Augusta Book Exchange
1650 Gordon Highway
Augusta, GA 30906
(706) 793-7796

If you want directions or need any other information, feel free to PM me.

if you have time at the weekends, drive up to Atlanta and check out some of the gaming stores there, so awesome gaming communities around, our own place here pretty much guarantees a game every weekend and we open until 11 (and later if we do a lock in)

Okay, I think I might take a trip up there one of these days, to both Atlanta and the one on Gordon Highway. Too bad I don't have a functioning army atm, I play guard with some DH allies thrown in. Seems like whenever I have them moved (military), some how someway I end up with more than 70% casualties in repairs and repainting...and I use battle foam....go figure. Thanks for the invites and I most certainly check it out when I have the chance.
