This question has to do with "eye less sight" and determining LOS. I have gone back and forth through the rules and it seems to me that an intervening model as long as it is a larger base still will not allow you to attack a model behind it even with "eyeless sight". Am I correct? Or does the fact that eye less sight ignores concealment allow a model with it to ignore LOS as well?

Eyeless sight does not say the model having it ignores intervening models, so I would say it doesn't allow you to ignore those for LoS.

There are other abilities like Siege's Foxhole, which allow attackers to ignore intervening models.

Ya there are several WM warcaster that can cast spells that allow a unit to ignore LOS when declaring an attack and making an attack. The wording on eyeless sight is overly verbose and basically says it ignores the same effects two times. However, it does seem as long as a model with eyeless sight can draw line of sight to a model it gets no bonuses to def what so ever for being obscured.

Thanks just wanted to make sure i read it correctly, have a tourney coming up this coming week end and I want to know the full extent of the rules as there will always be issues with interpretation, though WM is much clearer than several other table top games .

If you have the Field Test Rules, pg. 7 of the pdf says that with eyeless sight, a model ignores cloud effects and forests for LOS, and it ignores concealment and stealth when making attacks.

So, intervening models block LOS in either case. As does non-forest terrain (if it's big enough). Also, you don't ignore cover (just concealment).

You playing with the Mk II rules or the Mk I rules?

MKII, ya I got confused when they referenced a smaller based model being behind a larger based model is counted as being concealed but a lil further in I saw that you still have to be able to draw a line from base to base in order to have LOS and attack the concealed model, all "eyeless sight' does is remove the defense bonus. I'm solid now i think thanks guys.
