Moved her in the winter and the two stores that sold and/or played 40k have closed since I got here. Heard a rumor that one of them was gonna reopen in a cheaper location but otherwise I can't find anything nearby.

If I am not mistaken, I think there's a few other stores in the Atlanta area. I would check the Games Workshop site as they have a list of independent retailers. Also, I think you're about 30-45 minutes from the Mall of Georgia and have the Games Workshop store there.

There's no longer a GW store at the Mall of Georgia. However you can head ~5 minutes away from Mall of Georgia over to Phoenix Games. They have scheduled Fantasy on Tuesdays and 40k on Weds although there are usually people to play throughout the week.

The staff are friendly and helpful and pretty much the store is everything a GW store could only hope to be.
Worth checking out some time if you need a place to play

Yeah it sounds nice and if I'm ever that way I'd think about it but I live and work in Warner Robins so 2-3 hr drives on a work night to play 40k won't work for me.

best to make a weekend expedition, my own store opens until 11 each night, so you can pop by and get a game for sure, even with the long drive..
