I have just completed this game, and I like. essentially this is an alternate Gothic 4.

Good combat and magic system some interesting and original monsters in addition to standard fantasy fare.

Two thumbs up.

Heard some good and some bad stuff bout risen, haven't tried it myself yet.

I agree with you, but I found the combat system a bit annoying when playing as a monk, man who knew quarterstaff's could suck so much. Anyways the story is alrigth and same is the most of the game. So yea its definitely worth buying

I've played it for a bit, found the combat ballhard and I found it lacking direction, so I dropped it. Shame on me I know.

I just picked this game up as it is finally down to a reasonable price for its content. Never have I seen a game with so many faults work so well. I highly recommend that people buy this one before it goes out of stock. I will probably write a more substantial review a bit later.
