Hi, I'm Chris Eckardt, and I'll be going off to college in the fall. Where, I don't know yet, I'm still deciding, but that's all back story.
As far as wargaming and I go, I got interested into it through random browsing of the internet, and deciding that the 40k universe sounded pretty awesome. I did some more reading, decided I liked the Imperial Guard the best, and bought a Guardsman squad. Put them together, painted it, and figured out that I really enjoyed the whole hobby!
I haven't played any actual games yet....mainly because I'm still building up my army. I've named my current army the 707th Lubyankan Mobile Infantry, Charlie Company. (Of course, I plan to eventually complete the whole regiment =D). As a writer, I've also enjoyed creating the backstory for my regiment, the planet its from, and other things that I find amusing.
I'm looking forward to being an active member of the forum in the coming days!
Oh, and as an Imperial Guard player, I just have to end with: FOR THE EMPEROR!
