Hello everyone I'm new to the site and this message told me to make my first forum. So to start off I will tell you of how I got into wargames and all that. I got into wargames bought the same time as my older brother. He had started collecting warhammer fantasy he had a few models form wood evles,orcs and darkevles. I took a shine to the orcs at that stage and started collecting. It wasnt till later when I thought of collecting 40K I had thought it was a little technical back then and took forever to play a battle but as the rules got less ecumbersome I began my collecting of 40K. I started off with a tau XV8 battlesuit however I thought that tau tactics didn't take to my likeing. I started collecting spacemarines which turned out to be a failed mistake as I was shonked a few times trying to buy some. I got fed of 40K for a while and desided to continue with my already MASSIVE  Orc army which by that stage was close to 2500pts and rising eventullay I lost count of them and lost time to play with them and for a while I stopped Warhammer all together. But when I thought I was out they pull me back in and I started to collect again. This time I desided to take up 40K AGAIN and try to build an army. I went looking on the GW website and looked through all the 40k armies My firt attraction was the Imperial Guard cause the catachan squads looked cool  But I still ad a love for the greenies. So it came down to seeing the Elysian drop troops on the FW website. They looked awesome however they were EXTREMELY expensive way more then GW armies. This didn't hold me back though and I started to colllect them and boy are they sweet. I have a love for Airbourne being the fact of all the history I have read on them in the past so being able to field an army of them in 40K is sweet. At the moment I don't have a 2000pt army but i hope to build it up SLOWLY I might add as they are not cheap and be able to battle them in proper battles. Well I hope you liked reading my first forum. If you have helpful advice on what I can do to make my Elysian drop troop army bigger I would be very thankful.

To make your Elysian army bigger, buy lots of Valks. You don't need as many expensive models... well, the Valkyries are expensive... but it's cheaper than concentrating on those expensve troops. I don't really like those models myself.

Since I posted the forum I feel like putting up my Elysian army list. So heres what I've got so far.
1xELYSIAN COMMAND HQ with plasma gun and grav-chutes
2xELYSIAN DROP TROOP SQUAD with demo charge,grenade launcher and grav-chutes
3xELYSIAN DROP SENTINEL with heavy bolter/multi-melta
2xELYSIAN TAUROS VENATOR with lascannon/multilaser and hunter-killer missles
2xVALKYRIES with rocket pods/Hellstrike missiles and heavy bolter
Hopefully will be getting more Valks . Maybe more infantry and some stormtroopers.
