Hey everyone!
I was introduced to this site via listening to the D6 Generation podcast. I played Blood Bowl and Dark Future long ago and I even bought the 40k Rogue Trader book and a box of Space Marines once upon a time (I just got my Rogue Trader book back from my brother!). I have been getting back into miniature gaming recently, mostly historicals and small press stuff. I will probably buy into one of the big miniatures games soon, such as 40k, Warmachine, or FoW because I am looking for some more polish and opponents. I'm leaning towards Warhammer Fantasy but we'll see. I've had fun looking through the site so far. I look forward to getting some good advice.

Welcome to dakka and the world of wargaming! GW may be an evil organization but they put together a couple damn fine games with Warhammer fantasy and 40k, in my opinion you can't go wrong with either. It may be easier to find opponents for 40k however.

40K is probably going to get at least 2 more new codices this year - Dark Eldar and then maybe Grey Knights/Inquisition and then maybe Necrons or Black Templars too?
40K isn't due a new ruleset for at least 2 more years, I think...
