Just thought I'd slap this together to show a modification technique I've found for modifying plastic terminator torsos to make them both look more like a Grey Knight terminator as well as eliminating the "hunchback" problem most people dislike with the terminator models.

Heres two I made earlier: (though they're [strike]Grey[/strike]Gold Knights

(edit: spelling)

Thats pretty cool. Where did you get that head(the helmeted one)?

Guilliman and the Ultramarines are like Manchester United, everyone hates them because they are so awesome!

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

It's made from a plastic termie helmet. Pretty simple and awesome conversion to do.

On topic - Killer tut, gonna hafta try this one out when I come across some termies sometime.

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

Thank ye.

I remembered I never mentioned adding the wires to the back of the hood, but that would be in the greenstuffing phase.

I'm not crazy about the gold paint job, but I really dig your technique for creating these. I especially like the armpit shields you relocated to the forearms - they look great.

I'd suggest editing this tutorial to add the technique you used to create the GK style helmets. I know it's available elsewhere and have seen it, but it would add a more complete touch to your well-done tutorial.

If you're familiar with silicone casting, It might be easier to simply recast the inquisitor shoulderpad for your conversions. Of course, people on Dakka will give you a hard time for doing so (as if reproducing it in GS is materially different!)

Thanks, the gold is fluff reasons, these are fielded using GK rules but aren't actually GKs

I think I might do that, as will be an excuse to correct the spelling mistakes I also noticed.

To be 100% accurate, it's not that I'm not crazy about your paint job, so much as I don't really like any gold paint job on miniatures that are not the Deceiver. Those new Blood Angel guys that are gold, urf. Yours is as good as it gets though, and I wish I had seen this before I primed that last batch of terminators I did. I would totally redo them.
