So i was reading up on the field test rules for hordes and it mentions models used for channeling like arc nodes, but idk where to find out who channels and who doesn't. Where do i look for that?

Only a few warlocks in hordes can channel. I know that Vayl (Legion of everblight) can make 1 node per turn with her orb.

I also now there was someone in skorne that can do it. otherwise most hordes armys will be channelfree...

i see, so apparently there's a pretty heavy decrease in spell range in hordes in comparison to warmachine. that is enlightening.

There are some spells that don't exactly channel, but use a beast as a point of origin.

Doomshaper epic has one of those spells.

as far as I have seen the locks are not as agressive with their spells. They are mostly buffing themselves, their battlegroup or friendlys. There are some offensive spells, but these are not as overly prevailing as for warmachine.

Hordes has more reliance on beasts for delivering fury to the caster, but also for making the kills. There are less casterkills possible by spells in hordes. This is not a bad thing btw, as buffing makes the troops do insane amounts of damage... it evens out in the end...

Hexeris is the skorne warlock that can channel.
