Ork and wolves player in the Triad area of NC.


Anyone else around here?

I'm moving to Kernersville this weekend. I have played 40k on and (mostly) off for about eight years now. I don't currently have a 40k army but would get one if I had people to play with. I just registered on this site in hopes of finding people to play with so this works out perfectly. Where in the triad are you? And are there any stores around there that sell wargames and have gaming areas? I also play and have a Warmachine army.

After I woke up this morning I realized you're talking about the Winston Salem area.

My bad I can't think of any off the top of my head out that way.

I'm moving up to Cary next sunday May 30th, so I'll hopefully be over at Hangar 18 Hobbies whenever I have the chance. Can't think of any stores in the Winston-Salem area though

The asheboro area. There are a few people that play at a place called Kit Kringle in the Asheboro Mall. Its not much of a store, only one table, but its a start. The guy there has to costum order GW stuff though. You might try the Winston Salem area, bigger city might have some more options.

The group has a space in a warehouse they use, familiarly called "The Cage" that is open some weekends for play. Good gaming facilities, poor personal facilities. Take care of bodily functions before you go.

Hobbytown USA in Greensboro also has gaming on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Normally a number of folks there, so games are restricted to 4x4 tables, usually like 1000-1500pts.
