But I digress. My name is ironlord, anyone on the warhammer forums may know me by the same name, I used to make youtube videos under the guise of Buttonfactoryjim, but I am slowly loosing the enthusiasm for it with each passing day. I was attracted here by the creativity of these forums, whenever I google something random about warhammer or 40k it always seems to be a link to Dakka Dakka that pops up with an image that warps my tiny little mind just a little bit more than before.
I am 18 and I've been doing GW related hobby stuff for over eight years now.
My latest venture into super sized warhammer 40,000 apocalpyse is going well, mostly because the thrill of throwing around large blast templates onto ork hordes like they are shurikins made of whoopa is too much too have just the one time. Right now I am working on tweeking and improving my 8000 points of chaos space marines (kind of character heavy) + 2000 points of other chaos forces paint jobs because they have been around for so long that looking at some of the incredibly bad paint jobs make me all rosy eyed and nostaligic. (For example just tonight I painted over an oblitorator which was one of the first chaos marine models I bought almost five years ago.)
Another project I have been working on is The Doom Seeker, a warhammer fantasy ezine that a few friends and I churn out every couple of months to promote the fun side of the hobby to counter the dominance of "Tournament Based" media regarding warhammer. It's a fun little project that lets me indulge my writing and creative side, which asside from two NaNoWriMos a year doesn't get to do much. My main focus at The Doom Seeker is as a writer for the fluff sections of the ezine and as an editor for other people stories (just don't ask me to do spelling).
I hope to contribute too the forums and take some inspiration back too my own little hobby hole so I can spruce up the sprawling mass of chaos that sits atop my painting table.

This is an easy fix: click on your screen name and go to "Edit Profile". From there you can change the ranking system you file under. Chaos is definitely included!
