Have seen reports about the tokens used in AT, and having received the starter set I can understand the comments.

The cutout card tokens look a tad ephemeral and fiddly.
I was thinking it may be time consuming but worth attaching them to plastic card or something more substantial.

Is it worth the bother or what do you guys do?

Was also wondering whether it is worth investing in some plastic wallets for the cards, or laminating. Again is it worth doing this?
Thanks in advance

I sleeved my cards just to keep 'em safe. You don't really need to dry erase anything if you don't want to.

The tokens are easily glued to dice. I just primed some square edged dice black, super glued them on and then sharpied the edges to make them blend. You've got 5 positive states and 6 negative ones... so they go quite nicely on dice so you don't have to fiddle so much.

I use D20's for Damage as they're the easiest way to track life points and it's rare for a model to have more than 20.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Achilles
with some advise from Cannerus too, it has been very helpful

I like the dice token idea
As am intending to try and get some kids involved the fewer loose bits the better
