I am a BA and CSM player but I have fiddled with Orks, Eldar, Necron, Tau and IG.

Hello and welcome to dakkadakka. I am south african too but I live in Australia. I recently went back to SA (Johannesburg) for a holiday and I did not see any GW stores there. Are there any GW stores in SA?

There are a few but they are few and far between. The most popular and certainly the most player friendly in my opinion is Extreme Wargaming which runs outta Outer Limits. There is also The Underground, Esswix, and Otherland but I still stick with Extreme Wargaming (which was Smelly Troll for interest sake)

The game is growing in SA...especially with people like Casper from Extreme Wargaming that has started a club at Outer Limits where a bunch of us meet every saturday and play both 40k and fantasy. He has also started a league and club support. He is really doing alot for the 40k game in SA. If they had a noble peace prize for 40K I would vote for him =]
