just wondering who will i see at gamesday uk who will be from dakka. p.s. its my first time there can you bring ur own army to have a battle there or not?

I'm going to lock this one, feel free to jump into the other one though.

In past years they did indeed have a "Bring and battle" area where you could indeed meet up with people and have a game, I gather the event this year will be a little smaller due to various circumstances, so there is a chance that this won't happen. Your best bet is to check the GD section of the GW website linky regularly and see what they update it with. As the event draws nearer there will be more and more info with regards to what's what. I suspect both this board and the News and Rumour one might well have the odd snippet of info on them too.

If you do take an army with you, bear in mind you won't want to or be able to play for hours and hours, so a smaller force would be better, not least as remember you'll have to carry round with you whatever you bring ( and buy) there/ There's no storage areas as such.

Personally I've found the single most useful thing for GD is a supply of Red Bull and a Hip Flask.
