So i figure i might as well go ahead and introduce myself here. I was first introduced to Warhammer roughly ten years ago, and though i tried briefly to learn the system, there wasnt anyone close to where i live to be able to follow through with it. I did however start collecting figures cause i liked the idea of painting them however i wanted to make them look good. I collected a decent number of Grey Knights because of this since i liked the models, and did have the intention of building an army with them. Then i got distracted with other things and forgot about warhammer till roughly the end of summer last year when my brother got back into and i decided to give it a try. I found out i had roughly 1600 points of Daemonhunters collected and decided to give it a go. Luckily for me the store we played had regularly held 1000 point games so it worked okay. I then found out how much Grey Knights needed to be fixed and started looking at other armies. Not sure what it was about Daemons that drew me to them. I think part of it was that since i was playing Daemonhunters, lets play their nemesis. Another part is that nobody else at the store played Daemons at least not as their primary army. And finally through talking with friends it was a very unique and different army list so i thought i would give them a try. I now have 2500 points worth and played in this past 'Ard Boyz, finishing fairly poorly due to being paired up against a Nid Player in the second round who was unfamiliar with the army, had to use his laptop to reference the codex and was kinda a slow player so we only got 3 turns before time ran out and i got massacred from still having three expensive units still held in reserve. I have started working on collecting my second army, and this time around i chose to go with Tyranids, my reasoning on this being, if i cant beat them then i will join them. I have been lurking a little about the forums, and the rumors of a new GK codex is making me a little excited that they can finally be playable. And that is me in a nutshell.
