If this has been posted then forgive the newb.

I searched this board for Total War mods and saw many Total War posts, but none on this (I could have missed it).

Basically it's the greatness of one of the best computer wargames ever combined with a Warhammer mod that looks great.

TOTAL WAR + Warhammer = win

There are lots of other links and vids off of the page I linked.

Wow, I'm going to buy that game right now, and then play it with the mod.

The Textures are amazing and ALL the races, including Chaos Dwarves!

I play Medieval 2: Total war ALL THE TIME! And as tantalizing as this mod looks it is just a hassle to download with its 5 different parts (each has to be downloaded 1 after another because of the websites download restrictions).

I gave up on it.

Honestly, its so fething confusing and hard to download, after 2 day of fooling with it, its not worth it anymore.

The reason its so hard to install and configure is because the guys who make it are russian, and have barely any understanding of english, and that causes the installation instructions to be terribly confusing.

AND THEN, you have to download translations, but before that, you have to download all the sound files (and their instructions to do that is so confusing).

Only if it wasn't made by russians....Russians.

I couldn't mod Medieval 2 correctly either and ended up wiping the game and reinstalling.

The vid sure is nice though.

Wow... looks impressive. I'm not sure if you know but xBox and the PC have Warhammer: Battlemarch which allows for some pretty awesome warhammer battles to be fought.

Thought I have to admit, being ableto play as Chaos stunties is quite a draw!!!

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against the inevitable. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the darkness comes for you.

Here's another vid of the mod done by the Russain modders and you see more units...including dwarves.

It looks very nice, but you can't tell much from vids like this. Medieval 2 is a good game so it has that going for it, but I'd love to hear from someone who got the mod to work and played it a bit. I understand the strategy game is modded too, but I'm not clear about that.

Generalstoner, as you probably know, Battle March "borrowed" heavily from the Total War games, so it's an appropriate comparison.

I started over trying to mod this thing and with help I'm making progress. Woot. Woot.

The friend who is helping me modded his Total War 2 and it does look nice.

To give you a better idea of how it looks to play, this clip is the game capture of 2 battles against orks (one wooded hills the other snow) The snow battle also has a very creative chaos army unit mix.

The guy talking has a thick accent and moves the camera around a lot, but it's what you can expect if you mod and apply the highest graphics settings. Note that last bit (Highest graphics settings) because some folk can't play the normal game like that.

The nice thing about the mod is you have a nice blend of Warhammer coolness with the scale and rule depth of Total War. It's nice. If you liked Battle March you're going to love something like this...and if Batle March fell a bit short for you, this is probably what you were hoping for.

Now ... if I can only get it to work on my computer!
