Just two points to make if you would be so kind to indulge me:

1. Is there a way to keep people from posting on threads in the forum that are over a certain time period? Every so often we get a poster who necros a really old thread. Perhaps it is due to the search engine for terms they are looking for, failing to see how the search terms came back with dates not being chronologically in order?

2. I appreciate all that Ketara does for maintaining the Reputable Trader List. It has helped foster a sense of security and accountability for those who regularly trade here. I saw a week back he was editing the list for updates, but stopped midway. Is it possible to help make the list keeping more efficient for him, as I can imagine he must spend considerable time updating the list in order to help the community as a whole.

Thanks in advance.

I think these are both good points, but I think a "solution" to either one would be more complicated than the problem is worth.

There's the problem of people necro'ing threads all over the site, and we just lock the thread whenever it happens.

Ketara updates the reputable trader's list pretty frequently. It is a lot of work (thanks, Ketara ) but I also don't see it as being ultra-time-dependent. Unless it's someone's first trade, most posts just add to their "total" of successful trades, and doesn't affect their standing all that much if someone looks for their name in that thread.
