A couple of people at my LGS suggested I take some pictures of these things, and I thought I should probably get them into the interwebs to get feedback from people.

The model is put together for the most part as you can see, but there is a lot of detail and cleanup work that remains (gap filling, etching, a few bitz, etc. . .). I'll post updates and the framing for the second one as I go along.

It looks pretty good, but I have three sugestions to make it look a little bit better.

1. Thicken the front wing, looks like it would snap during flight.

2.Raise the cockpit window out a little (somewhat like the thunderhawks).

3.The top mounted lascannon would look beter mounted on the side opposite of the multimelta (or flamestorm cannon?).

But otherwise it looks good, should be interesting to see how it turns out!

Yeah, that's looking sweet.

I would also add some rivets, some gothic points etc from the plastic 40k ruins etc and other detailing.

+1, remember, the larger surfaces are on scratch-builds, the more requirement for detailing. A flat, plain surface receives no love

Great start, As MGS said, it could do with a lot of texture, rivets, pips, plating seams etc, but the fundamental form is very nice.
