Hello guys and gals. This is my first blog so I hope it goes well.

I'm currently working on three projects. A paper MkII rhino, Ruined gate scenery and a small force of Black templars. I have started on the scenery and the rhino. The templars will start in about 1/2 weeks time. Partly because I don't feel too confident as a painter, so the scenery is like a warm up and partly because i need some more chaos black spray paint and some washes. Heres all the images i could get my claws on.



This is what I have been working on. Its been made from some old wood throw outs, plastic spruce, a cheap plastic figure, styrofoam and plaster. The figure you see there is my brothers, for size comparison.

Eventually glued sand on with some watered down PVA glue.



The 'gate' spray painted. I left the mech unpainted because i wanted to give it a bleached bone paint job. Thats all for now.

Nicely done, good simple terrain. the best kind.

Last night i did some more painting, sorry for the blurred picture.



I cleaned up the mech and applied three thin coats of skull white as a primer as to not obscure any detail. I followed this with two washes of graveyard earth (The first one wasn't to good).
