Friend and I are very keen for =][=mundaheim so to get a feel for it we've decided to start with Necromunda, although we rolled 1 advance
for each member prior to starting - just to make it more interesting.
Ran our first battle today - the battle of the Processor Plant [Gang Fight Scenario]. My gang of scavvy's took the day, leaving the
Redemptionist mob in tatters.
Here's the list (and some fluff) for the Lords of the Waste:
Duke von Skoll : Scavvy Boss
His grim visage and talent for oratory have ensured the loyalty of his followers. No one knows where the Duke came from, nor has
anyone seen his true face as he is always wearing the Mask von Skoll. Three things are for sure, though, he's brutal, he's the boss
and he tolerates no rivalry.
Equipment:
Sword
Scatter Gun
Pockets full o' nails
Rex the Tyranous : Scaly
Rex the Tyranous carries the mighty Scatter Cannon. It's boom and blast have felled many a poor soul stupid enough to confront him.
Skills
Crushing Blow
Equipment
Sword
Scatter Cannon
Discus
Komodo Joe : Scaly
Komodo Joe loves his speargun almost as much as he loves bashing squishy little humans. If only his spears were straight they might find their target.
Equipment
Sword
Spear Gun
Discus
Carl the Squid : Mutant
Carl the Squid, so named for his tentacular appearance, made no small impact in the battle of the Processor Plant. He laid one Redemptionist to
rest during a pitched hand to hand battle.
Mutation:
Tentacle
Equipment:
Sword
Scatter Gun
Pockets full o' nails
Franky Four Eyes : Mutant
Franky Four Eyes' twin stub guns can be heard a mile off, pity his sight isn't all it used to be. In the battle of the Processor Plant he managed
to miss everyone... admittedly he spent most of his time with his heads in the ground.
Mutation:
Two-Heads
Equipment:
Maul
Stub Gun
Stub Gun
Trip the Butcher : Mutant
Aptly named, Trip favors a broad bladed machete styled sword. He slices, he dices - and he is responsible for the biggest contribution to the
cooking pot - poor Redemptionist Jack.
Mutation:
Extra Arm
Equipment:
Sword
Scatter Gun
Pockets full o' nails
Fast Eddy : Scavvy
Quick in, quick out. That's the way Fast Eddy likes to fight. During his first battle he sprinted right up to the first Redemptionist he could find and
gave him a good mauling. But when his old pal Dodg'a fell Fast Eddy made good on his name and sprinted away. In fact he's so blindingly fast
that he now attacks twice in a turn.
Skills:
Sprint
Equipment:
Sword
Scatter Gun
Pockets full o' nails
Dodg'a renamed Dead Dodg'a : Scavvy turned Zombie
"Alas poor Dodg'a,
sweet ballerina of the wastes,
bullets never found him,
ended by an eviscerator to the face"
- the ballad of Dodg'a.
This unfortunate fellow met a gruesome end in the skirmish of the Processing Plant. Untouched by all incoming fire, he dodged bullets left and
right, the charge left him winded and when he came face to face with Crazy Pete (armed with the eviscerator) he dodged left, instead of right,
and was torn apart. I'm loathe to lose him entirely and will have him return as a zombie follower just for fluff purposes.
