I'm fairly new to the world of wargaming (as in, playing the actual games as opposed to fluff and modeling).

I play Legion of Everblight. Mostly against Khador, and I always hear people say I should always get the charge because of my high speed stats.
But I almost always fail in doing this... I seem to be unable to so far grasp exactly what I'm doing wrong.

So, any hints, tips and tricks are much appreciated.

One of the problems against Khador is that it is very easy to underestimate their Warjack's speed capability. SPD 4 looks small on paper, but they can very easily improve this in most cases.

Part of Legion's ability to charge first is not only in their speed, but also in their LOS and terrain negation ability. You can literally charge the enemy when they cannot even see you, like from the other side of a forest.

You'll find that positioning and estimating distances is key in Warmachine and Hordes, particularly when you have expensive glass cannons like Legion does. All you can do to learn this is to practice.

IC, I suck at judging inches because we don't even use that in this country apart from wargaming... It's kind of annoying, I want metric rules XD.

And I'm usually facing eSorcha +beast 09 :(
