Quick question rules wise. If an incorporeal model moves through a models melee range that has a magical weapon, does the model get a free strike on the incorporeal unit? Im just asking because I know that only magic weapons and such can hurt incorporeal models, but Im not sure about free strikes.

Thanks

Yes, being incorporeal doesn't prevent free strikes it just prevents the damage and effects from non magical weapons.

Any chance of page quotes and the what not?

The reason Im asking, is that I was playing in a small warmachine tourney, and a cryx stalker(?) turned incorporeal by a spell just walked through my front lines (damned hill) and gave eKreoss a good rogering, and if it turns out that I was jipped, Im doing the same as I did last time and then proving him to be a cheating git in the finest sense of the word...

Read the Incorporeal rule on pg 34 of PM2. Nowhere does it mention free strikes whatsoever.

If I'm not mistaken there's no spell in cryxian arsenal that can turn a model "Incorporeal". There're Ghost Walk and Spectral Steel that grant "Ghostly" and models with Ghostly are immune to free strikes by the wording of that rule. Ghostly models however can pass freely through rough terrain and obstacles but not through models. So in that case, Stalker could go around your models at will but definitely not "through" them.

IIRC as well, Mazgier is correct about there being no spell.

They either come with it.
Are eDenny with a 'every other turn' limitation.
Are Soulhunters and only gain it when activiating near Wrathe but only for their activation...

That's what's off the top of my head.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

eDenny can cast "Curse of Shadows" on an enemy model/unit.

It makes them so you can move through the enemy, and they cannot make free strikes. Akso makes them -2ARM.

A little more information is needed before we can call any one out as cheating, I think.

eDenny and Coven can do Curse of Shadows

It was standard Deneghra IIRC, because he did the feat of "you are the lamez lolololol" just before that. The one you get in the cryx battlebox unless Im mistaken...

If it was normal Deneghra, he was playing entirely correctly, and the Incorporeal ability wasn't involved at any point in this issue.

If it was normal Deneghra he could use Ghost Walk to avoid free strikes. That however still does not explain this:

unless of course AllfathersBlade just wanted to say that the warjack simply walked/charged between his models.
