Ok so before I put my feet in the water on this army I have a few things I would like to say.

1. This isn't your "average" Black Templars army. Every marine from landspeeders to to initiates are made from the Black Templars upgrade sprues. Heads, torsos, arms ect. if it was availible in the upgrade boxes its on the models. I say this because my frist templar army I got in a trade was a bunch of black reach marines painted templar colors. The only exception is the terminator squad which is black reach with a single shoulder pad replaced with a black templar one. The landraiders have templar doors as well.

2. Of the painted models, all of them are painted to the codex colors. No suprizes. Painted models are done very well. I am not am amature painted but I am also not a professional.

3. The entire army is magnatized for a display board. The drop pod doors are magnatized closed so they dont fall open on your display board.

4. I will include shots of the display board. It is availible in the transaction if you agree to pay its full shipping cost. (Its heavy!)

Then general tactics of this army consist of deepstriking the multi melta speeders on enemy rear armor. They are cheap enough to acomplish this.
The terminators drop pod in with their assault cannons with tank hunters meaning a single rending hit as already glanced av14, a further roll of 3 plus is a penetrate.
Starting on the board is the two close combat initate squads in the crusaders as deadicated transports each with an HQ
The last drop pod and bolter maines drop in on your objective in your back field so that you dont have to leave a crusader idol to guard it.

With the ability to rip throw enemies with the intiate squads rerolling all failed hit rolls these guys can easily wipe the board of your opponets armies.

Fresh update with great pictures!

How is the display case built? What material are the minis sticking to? How heavy is it?

This display case was made by a friend of mine who works at a cabnet shop. There are two welding steel sheets, one on top and one on the bottom, which the minis are sticking to. The steel was treated with rust inhibiter primer and paint to and finally sealed with a clear coat to prevent rusting. Since the case is solid wood and steel it weighs in easily at 20 pounds loaded out with minis. It has a surface area of ~20' x 16' if I recall correctly. (I am not at home to check)

The army is pending sell but the case is up for grabs if anyone wants to make any offers.
