Hi, ive been playing LOTR for 2 years and recently stopped playing becasue no one around my area plays it, any ideas of a club.
I live in Autralia/brisbane and also, with high elves what should i have?

I don't know a lot about the LOTR games but i do know that i really hate elves...
woodelves seem okay from what i can tell a good add-on for high elves

Why dont you like high elves?

Not high eleves just elves in general across all universes and world i don't know why i just don't like them

Isenguard or rather i will be doing sort of new to this, but as i said from the little i have seen wood elves seem to be a decent addition to a high elf army

Not as an entire army just a detachment.

if you have no 1 to play star a club. Just make an ad prints it off and put dem up in every store that sells GW stuff and also every library arround your area

Check the gw website and the back of white dwarf for any clubs i'm shure i read theres one in brisbane but near you is a different question.

When you say club, do you mean just start mine own up and say for example just meet at the GW ever Thursday night (or something like that).

And would they allow you to put a poster on there window????

I've played high elves for a while and, if you have the coin, just load up on them spearmen [they come in blisters of 3] with shields. after that, go and get yourself a glorfindel. he is easily the greatest unit around. Aiglos makes him perfectly suited to munching captains for breakfast and with a shield he has high enough defense to go the distance. A banner is always a must, but elves have a high enough fight to make do without one if you're strapped for points. Other than that, pick up some archers and, if you want to win games, a Legolas. Dont use your might for making kills, use them for heroic actions [let elven blades do the work in fights where you have numbers in your favor] and you should be fine.

well then you should be good.
12 high elf spears, eight bows, gil galad and legolas [unless you are a purist] makes a great ~500pts.

With high elves, if you have guys with elven blades, never use them two handed!
They lose their amazingness to be able to win all fights!

I hate it cuz I spent about 1 hundred dollars making a high elf army and I go to the GW/FLGS and I dont get a gane but than I use my 40k Daemons and I get heaps of games, waste of money!
