Most people think aobr is a good buy for what you get, but as a trade off you lose the spare parts and the weapon options,
so I began to think on how to change the Space marine special weapons to things like plasma guns and melta guns, so I came up with this...

To this...

Things you need...
1. Aobr Marine
2. standard boltgun arms
3. a Plasma/Melta gun
4. a razor saw
5. and glue

Step one: To start this off you first need to some normal space marine arms and cut them, you need to make two cuts, make a cut right behind the hand on the fireing arm and set it aside, then you take the holding arm and cut it before the ring on the arm (if this isn't here the new gun won't fit).

Step two: Next you glue the fireing hand to your gun and glue the holding hand to the marine, but before the holding hand dries test fit the gun in place and make any corrections.

Here is what it should look like...

Step three: then you glue the gun in place, then you are done.

Sorry I do not have any in progress pics

Note: I magnitized my marine so I can switch between the flamer and the plasma gun.

Any comments, and suggestions are welcomed.

Pretty sweet! I thought about doing this, but was too eager to begin painting to give it the time. I'll be thinking about it going forward though, thanks for the tute!

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

might be worth cutting the butt off; it doesn't fit a tactical marine quite right. [even box kit ones.]

Origianly i thought that it was the stock that was angling the gun too, but with a little test fitting it was actually the lower mid-section coming in contact with the chest piece.

well, thats because it's so taught to his body.

on the kit boxes, it's because the butt sticks out.
