Hey everyone.
Hopefully I have placed this topic and link in the correct section and am not violating any forum rules. I've read through them so I don't believe so, but mods feel free to tell me otherwise, I'm still new here. LOL

This is the recently released Launch trailer for Starcraft 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgyL08nhtkw - It's a youtube link, but I couldn't find the official blizzard site link, sadly. I hope everyone enjoys it, it is astounding just to experience this trailer and provides me with a lot of excitement for release.

P.S. If anyone could figure out which trailer song this is from could you provide me with the link? Most trailers are done by outside companies, such as Two Steps from Hell, so I was curious if people had any ideas.

Oh my sweet emperor! I am now officaly beyond any sane amount of excitement.

Why did Blizzard not make a starcraft movie when GW is making 40k one o_o

I think they are too tied up with the WoW one tbh. Although I will be interested in seeing what Sam Rami can come up with in a year or two.


As to Starcraft.

I'm surprised people really get so excited about this game. I never played the first, but always heard good things. Planned to get SCII until I heard that it's basically a $150 game off the bat since it's coming out in three parts. That's a deal breaker for me. I'm shocked it isn't a deal breaker for others. That first game must have been really really good.

I'm not a huge PC gamer, but if this can run on my computer, I'm getting it.

I'm fairly sure the next two installments will be cheaper, since Wings of Liberty includes the complete multiplayer (though it wouldn't surprise me to see new units with the Zerg/Protoss chapters)
Next installments will likely be priced as expansion packs.
