What are some match ups he doesn't like?
He primarily likes to shoot stuff and stuff has a hard time hiding/screening against him.
So basically he doesn't like the more backfield casters that hang back/having larger control areas to be furthur away.
I do want to start a small force with him, but not tiered as trencher heavy eats up points fast.
I'm thinking of this basic 10 points:
Siege
-Defender
-Squire
Junior
Reinholdt
I (not suprisingly) am interesed in B13, ATGM+UA, Hunter (for junior).
I also interested in Alexia, the Hammer Dwarves and the High Shield Dwarves (UA).
These options (generally larger squads for unit involved) are all pretty points intensive...so it'll be hard to stay under/at 25 points.
I'm thinking the Hammer Dwarves are decent cause they can be at Arm 18 and just run to where they need to be. Though slow, they don't need to hang back.
The High Shields are durable when they need to be and with the UA, I can get a big CRA when I need to when Siege useds Foxhole to tear down a screen to get at something useful to shoot at.
I think both are nicely durable and don't mind the close range of each because they can go for objectives and such.
Alexia is just cool herself and very far reaching when reanimating corpse tokens gets coupled with a walk and craft Thrall to then have that thrall activate his charging weaponmaster self.
The B13 is the B13, adding utility via offensive abilities.
ATGM are nice for push back shot and can deal sever blows to stealth target (so the list doesn't have to rely on Siege dealing with Stealth Threats).
Any opinions on what to get to bulk out the list?

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

There isn't a matchup he really doesn't like. He's the best attrition caster Cygnar has. My normal lists is:
Siege
2 Chargers
Defender
Squire
ATGM + UA + Defender
Strangewayes
Reinholdt
StormCaller
The UA and Strangewayes are vital to the defender. Boosted crit brutal damage shots and 4d6 + 15 boosted damage on the feat turn means never having to say you're sorry. Mainly cause what you just shot is dead or is too busy looking for body parts to worry about it.

How about scenarios?
Yours looks like it would rather just caster kill and be over with it .

Thats the problem with Siege, pop feat kill opposing warcaster. It works but it isn't much fun for you or your opponent.

Welcome to Warmachine.
Most feat turn combos in the game aren't much "fun"...

Killing the warcaster means 90% of the time, you won't have to worry about the scenario.
