So, I'm coming back to the game after a while, and I've decided to go with Imperial Guard (Cadian) with an urban theme.

In this thread I am going to keep a blog of my painting and modeling.

Just a placeholder for now until I get some pictures up (later this week)

Well, until you get pics, can you tell us about your paint scheme and what made you choose your scheme.

Well, I basically just want to avoid the green army man look. Originally I was going to avoid cadian models all together and use Valhallan, but due to the fact that they are somewhat difficult to come by, I decided to go Cadian, but am keeping my paint scheme inspired by the Valhallan look. I'm going to keep the khaki clothing, but have the armor be an urban look with grey/black/white. I'm going for a mix of infantry, armor and artillery but mostly sticking with infantry to start.

I know it isn't much among the pages of awesome stuff in these forums, but here is my very first squad of infantry modeled after taking ~10 years off from 40k!
