I just got the Gondor in Flames source book and I'm in a predicament i rather like the look of the Rangers Ithilien and i love faramir but i also love the thought of fielding an Army of the High King and isilidur is my favourite character out of all of the movies (since that's all that I've seen starting on the Fellowship of the Ring book just now infact) and i was wondering what would be an easier force to start with. All suggestions welcome

WHAT WAS THAT!? im sorry i can't hear you over the sound of how awesome i am

I think you should start with the rangers!

I would recommend the Rangers. There's nothing wrong with collecting an army around Isildur, but the problem is that army won't be Third Age, which means that it'll be a bit weird playing against any other army out there. Also, the Warriors of Numenor that would go alongside Isildur have a very limited model range.

Yeah, what they said. Ranger armies can be largely plastic, saving lots of money.

You can also include the Warriors of Minas Tirith, who are the best to learn with, IMHO. Replace all of your bow armed Warriors with Rangers. Or try the Grey Company if you really, REALLY, like rangers.

Peace

But hey laser guns!
